Atlanta, Ga. - The Highlanders finish day one of the Georgia Tech Invitational. The two day meet is hosted by Georgia Tech and will take place at George C. Griffin Track in Atlanta, Georgia.

Tiffany Evans (Dumfries, Va.) captured seventh place in the shot put on the first day of competition. Her distance was marked at 48-10.75.

The Georgia Tech Invitational will conclude on Saturday, May 14. The day will begin with field events at 9:00 a.m. and running events will start at 3:00 p.m.
