Highlanders Fall to UNC Asheville in First Round of Big South Tournament Rock Hill, S.C. -- Radford’s men’s tennis season came to an end this afternoon as they fell in the first round of the 2005 Big South Men’s Tennis Championship to #4 UNC Asheville, 4-1, at Winthrop’s Memorial Courts. The loss snapped a seven-match winning streak by the Highlanders. The Bulldogs got the doubles point plus wins at No.3, 5 and 6 positions. Radford's only triumph came at No. 2 with a victory by junior Arthur Vasarevic (Zagreb, Croatia). The Highlanders finish their season with a 13-7 record, while the Bulldogs move to 16-4.
